My water lines and drainage is down threw the floor. How do I install a pedistal sink getting at least the drain line within the pedistal.

Is your drain coming from the wall ? Are you on concrete slab or raised foundation ? Please, answer these two questions first... Also, you could post a photo of the sink area. Thanks..

The drain and water lines come up through the floor. The area has a crawl space under the floor. I thought of moving the drain to behind the wall so I would be coming out of the wall instead of through the floor but that would be too much of a problem. The house is 120 yers old. Thanks.

That "S" trap drain line can turn into a real problem if it comes up through the floor anywhere near the china base. Check to be sure you have the room to install your lavatory.
The supplies can be picked up with two chrome 1/4" tubes and chrome inline angle stops. Good luck, Tom

Put that trap below the floor... First I would dry fit it: place ped-lav exactly where I plan to install it. Then mark the outline of the leg on the floor. Then, drill hole right next to and behind the leg. You can do the same with the water lines. Once under the house, you can connect it as pictured.

That sounds like a viable solution. I'll have to crawl under the house and see what I have for space. You would not believe the mess down there. I have wires and pipes running all over the place. Hard to tell what is what. Will get back and let you know if I was able to move. Thanks a bunch. Dl

Milo came up with a workable solution. Put the trap in the crawl space. This makes the installation "doable". Nice thinking outside the box, Nilo.. Give yourself a pat on the back and two weeks vacation in Aruba. Regards, Tom

I want to thank all you guys out there. Your answers were helpful. As it turns out, I should have listened to my son who kept telling me I had the base upside down. When it finally sunk in and I turned the base around, that put the opening in the back at the top and I had access to connect the drain pipe. It was still tight but workable. Again, thanks for the help. Dl
