All I can remember is a family moving into a house with a wood opposite. The eldest daughter looks through the window across to the wood and a pane of glass cracks where she was either looking though the window or touching it. During the film she realises that there is some entity in the forrest.

As the film progresses we find out that three children many years ago entered the forrest and preformed some sort of ritual resulting in one of the girls going missing, I think, when lightening falls on a bell tower. Our hero then goes about finding the original people in the circle (now several years older) and then re-enacts the gathering at the exact time/place. The person that has been 'trapped' is then brought back into the world the film was set in.
