I inherited a piece of land in Idaho and it is now forclosing, the summons I received is too me and my brothers but the property is still in the name of the estate. The laywer that haddled the estate when our brother passed away never completed the paperwork. How do I file a response to this summons stating the property is NOT in our names and they need to sue the estate NOT US? Please help I have only a couple days to respond. We are letting the owner have the property but we do not want to be stuck paying her laywer as they filed againse the wrong people. Where do I find the paperwork I need to file? Thank you so much.. PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME FAST!

You need to contact the estate Attorney - I don't understand why the estate paperwork was never completed. Whether the paperwork was completed or not it would appear the property was to pass to you and legally may very well be yours, paperwork aside.

You need an Attorney.
