What is the difference between a 35E and a 35F series Silver Cert dollar bill.
I see a lot of 35E but nothing on 35F.

Hi, saroh!

Do you have a 1935F one dollar silver certificate, please?

What I'm seeing in the difference in the letters, is because of the names that are on the front of the currency. But, I'm sure that Flying Blue Eagle will be able to explain more about that.

I'm going to move your question over to Collectibles, because that's where these types of questions are usually, and more appropriately, located.

Thanks!

Saroh and clough- very good clough ,the only difference in 1935E and 1935F is the sighnatures{ NOTES}- Here are some examples of why the searies dates and letters change;;#1-series date 1935- and 1935A signatures were Julian AND morgenthau . Then in 1935B the signatures changed again-they were JULIAN AND VENSON. In 1935C- signatures changed again TO JULIAN and SNYDER ;;1935E was Priest and Humphrey;;1935F was Priest and Anderson;; NOTE : When there is a change in signatures {one or both or a change in the design you will have a change in the SRIES DATE and LETTER:: I hope I have answered your question; If I have please rate my answer; Have a grate day and GOD BLESS [ THANKS clough for the help: F.B.E.

I sent you a message tonight in response to your message to me, F.B.E. Did you receive it?

Thank you for your clarification as to the names and then the letters put next to the year, F.B.E.

I have a 1935F Series with Priest and Anderson signatures. Any idea on the value and are these more rare? Just curious as I know most "normal" silver certs aren't worth a lot.

Thanks,
Frank
