Ok so I have a big problem I have never had an orgasm... not even once. I don't know what is wrong. I know I will probably get responses back saying: you have't been with the right person then, or have you done foreplay, have you tried pleasuring yourself and all of that other mumbo jumbo and the answer is yes I have done all of the above I am seriously losing hope. I have been with all different kinds of people all different shapes and sizes all different positions and nothing seems to do the trick. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Can I get any suggestions? It just it kind of frusterating and I'm wondering if this is really unnormal... I have talked to some of my friends about it and some are actually have the same problem I do. I heard that something like this can be genetic but then again you can't believe everything you hear.

Have you ever played with yourself and orgasmed? I know that's personal, but it is still an orgasm. To have one during sex-you have to be in the right mind frame to have one. It also helps if the member of the oppositte sex is touching your most sensitve spot (so to speak), or there are some other techniques. But if you stress out during sex about having one, then you never will.

1) Are you male or female?

2) How old are you?

(key facts needed to make any type of determination in this area)

Believe it or not, this is somewhat common of women your age. It doesn't mean you are defective or broken in any way. It just means that the connection may not be fully developed. This is usually more of a mental thing than a physical one. My girlfriend is 22 and has only just started being able to orgasm. She was a bit of a tomboy and was just never that interested in it or much anything sexual so her exploration started much later.

Yes, all the mumbo jumbo you mentioned may all play a key role and its usually best to figure it out by yourself first.. though that doesn't work with everyone. I think more so, it will come down to your mental state. This can happen with men and women where they have feelings of anxiety about their ability to orgasm which inevitably defeats any possibility before you begin.

Try different soothing relaxers for your body and mind... different stimulants and lotions to help arouse you... and just try to become comfortable with it. Practice makes perfect ;)

Despite rumors that masturbation is bad its not! Its very very good espically when you want to know how to pleasure yourself. Don't depend on your partner to figure it out because you'll be waiting a long time. I'm assuming you know what it feels like to be aroused so next time you become aroused start stroking your clitoris until your ograsim. Try to make it nonstressful and quiet. Like alone in your room with an empty house. I had my first orgasm at 12 years old through masturbation and continued masturbation through my teenage years and lost my virginity at 18. Fortunately I know how to pleasure myself and I enjoy sex because I had the time to experience it naturally without any preasure.
