Paul Emile Lecomte Biography
Paul Emile was the son of the artist Paul Lecompte 1842 - 1920. He studied with his father and with Cormont at the School of Fine Art in Paris. He was an official painter to the French Navy Ministry and he specialised in harbour scenes and seascapes.
He exhibited at the Society of French Artists on a regular basis, having been elected to membership in 1902. At this Salon, he was awarded a gold medal.

Sorry, I was cut off while asking you my next question: So this means that his signature is before at around 1920's era, and do you have any information on collectors of his art?
