I have a code in the ABS System for the ABS Pump Motor. Is it possible and even likely that the EBCM would cause the ABS Pump Motor to stop pumping?

It's a possibility, though not a high probability.

What codes did you come up with? This system has lots of problems and some pertain to broken gears in the motor. Get us the codes and we'll get you the fix.

Thank You for the inpuit. What I have found this afternoon after pluindering with this problem is this. The code was for the Pump Motor stalling. I was not ready to fork out $900 for a pump from the dealer nor $350 to an auto parts store to replace the unit. So bound and determined , I blead the brakes and ensured the fluid levels wer topped off. The problem was that the motor was running too slow for the process of the ABS to work. I then went to the Fuses in the relay panel under the hood and checked both fuses. They were good. What I found out at this time with the car running was that each time I pushed the fuse back in, the pump motor was starting to run. Well determined, I did this about 30 times and the ABS light went off!! Thank goodness. I then tested the ABS in action and it is working fine. Thanks You so much for your input and I hope this will be assist others in fixing their problem.

Nice job! You were smart to change the brake fluid, too. Change the brake fluid every 2 years with an ABS-approved fluid. Non-ABS brake fluid is too viscous, generates too much heat, and strains the pump motor too much.

I suspected the problem was fuse-related. Over-and-over, I focus on the fundamentals of properly checking all under hood and under dash fuses (with a test light or multimeter), at the first sign of an electrical-related problem, on this site:

Read the Important Note in the link above. You should still be sure to test all under hood and under dash fuses, with a test light or multimeter; remove and clean fuses with abrasive cloth; lightly apply dielectric grease; and reinstall fuses. Ensure your fuse boxes are "Military Ready."

There is an acceptable range of voltages for the ABS pump motor. If you are outside the range, a code is thrown. Obviously, because of the corrosion on the fuse, your voltage was too low.
