My TV picks up my laptop when laptop is loading, but as soon as it gets onto the user log in page the TV screen goes blank please help

First off, is it an HDTV or just your normal TV, maybe CRT? If it is a non HD TV, sometimes the max resolution is 800x600 or in some cases 1024x768 that your TV will accept. The windows loading screen is always lower resolution, I think 640x480 or so. So you'll see that part because it is a lower res. I would log on, and adjust your screen resolution down to 800*600 and see what happens.

If you do have an HDTV, the same could be the problem. Usually HDTV have a set resolution, so you'll need to set your laptop to that, if you can.
