I have a 10 year old Weedeater Lawn Tractor and the last time of mowing my yard it stopped 1/2 way through. Never done this before. I tried to start it and it wouldn't start.
I waited 3-4 hours later and it started right up. Ran for about 10 minutes and shutdown. Tried starting it and it wouldn't start again. Waiting until the next day, started right up. Ran for 2 minutes and shutdown again. Couldn't get to start again. I replaced the spark plug, the gas is fresh. Fuel filter seems to be flowing through okay. Gas cap Maybe?
Any other suggestions?

Hi,
Well it could be the gas cap, but I would say the ignition failed. Your description is detailed enough to possibly suspect a fuel system problem; a fuel pump if present or clogged fuel filter would be best guesses there.
Ignition is best choice , and you do not say that you checked for fire.
Peace,
