I recently just had sex on the 28 of October and it was my first time. I didn't bleed that day but two days later I started bleeding like in my period. It has been bleeding for 4 days now. I'm not sure if this is because of my hymen or something else. Also is it possible for me to pregnant even though I have been bleeding because this one site I went to said to expect 5 to 7 days of bleeding during your first week of pregnancy. The last period I had was the second week of October, so as far as I'm concerned this shouldn't be my period.

What planet are they from who told you to expect bleeding? I am 49 years old and have been pregnant 3 times and have been around lots of pregnant women and it has always been when there is NO period ,therefore no bleeding, that the idea of being pregnant comes up. If there is,and not time for your period, it may indicate a problem, and a doctor should be consulted, not a website. Even though everyone means well,it can not take the place of a medical expert.

Although it is possible to have some spotting during your first weeks of pregnancy, it's not very typical. If you are bleeding, even though it's not really the time your period should be taking place, you are probably not pregnant. Sometimes, if your diet has changed drastically, or for many other reasons, your period can become irregular.
