So, a little about HIM:
*I'm a girl with a guy best friend.
*He's turning 22.
*He's a frat boy.
*He's basically my little brother.
*We've always had the perfect big sister/little brother relationship
*We've been friends for 6 years.
*He lives in Idaho {for school} and I live in Washington.
So, I've decided that whenever I asked "What do you want for your birthday?" I get "I dunno.." twenty times. SO, I've decided I'm making him a care package.
The ideas that I've had so far are:
**Handmade card.
**Silk flowers/Pansies {with a note that says: "I love you but you're still a pansy")
**Peanut butter chocolate chip coconut cookies. {{His favorite}}
**Condoms with funny crude sayings on them.
ANY other ideas!!??

Hi, Momma!
So are you meaning for this to be more of a gag than anything else, please?
Thanks!

No, it's a serious gift with some twangs of sarcasm. We're really close, but we pick on each other like brother and sister.

I suppose I should mention that I'm sort of low on cash these days {Most of the gifts are made by me.. }

Send him a card and put monopoly money in it or an IOU.
Do you have pictures of you two? Make a collage.
Or make one of your pictures into a painting-- if you can draw.

I have some friends where we give each other a "white elephant" type of gift most years. We pass it around between us on our birthdays. It's something that was originally found at a garage sale or maybe at a Goodwill Store or the Salvation Army.
Don't really remember...
Thanks!

{OR} any ideas for his birthday card?
Kissing the card 23 times and have it say something like here are your birthday 'smacks'.
Does he live in a dorm or apartment?

I was asking because know the dorms around here have started banning air fresheners, candles, etc. because of conflicts with smells as well as safety issues in some cases.
What about homemade candles or candle holders? Cans with holes punched in them in patterns, glass jars with some decoration, or old mugs and teacups can make interesting and relatively inexpensive candle holders. They can also be good for both romantic times or when the power goes out.

Promise him that you will never left him alone. I think it will be the best gift for him.
