So I went out with this girl the other night. We had met a month before and I finally asked her out. She has recently got out of a relationship. We had been texting back and forth for the past week and decided to go to the movies. I felt like it went pretty well. I had the feeling that she was extremely nervous (didn't make eye contact) (she made a comment about being conscious of her talking too much). Anyway she said she had a good time. Leading up to the date she told me she was very excited to go out. Since then we haven't talked in a few days. I text her the next day about something from the night before but got no response. We haven't talked since. Any suggestions? Should I wait it out?

NO! Do not wait it out.
Get is touch with her as soon as possible
And ask her out again.
Her reaction will give you the answer you are looking for.

She just broke up, so you got to give her some time and space to recover from the break up. You've already tried to contact her, so the ball is on her side of the court. Give her time to respond, no need to add extra pressure.
If after a week you haven't heard from her, then you can try to contact her. But if she still doesn't respond, then that's a clear indication that she's not interested anymore.

Thanks. Is no response an indication that she is not interested? I didn't even realize she was in a relationship till after I had asked her to go out.

Just call her, no texts , TALK to her.
Tell her you enjoyed being with her. You'll get the feel of what's up just by what she says, and the tone in her voice.
You should never text a girl the day after a first date.
At least not if you want a second one.
Call.
ask and answer

Ask, were you agreeing or rolling your eyes?
