Today would be my son's 32nd birthday. He was born 10-08-1977 (LiveCall:10-08-1977) in Portland Oregon, he was born 8 weeks premature and weighed 4lbs 80z's, he spent two weeks at OHSU and he was then adopted to a family who I believed had a father who was a lawyer and already had a daughter. He was born at 7th Day Adventest Hospital and was delivered by a Dr.Peterson. I was 17 at the time of birth and am now 49 years old. I would like very much to find my son if he would be agreeable to talking with or meeting me. My name at the time of birth was Theresa Jane Wright.

Was this a private adoption through an agency ? They may still have some records. Im assuming this was a closed adoption so that might be the best place to start. When you do find them don't expect that they will fall all over themselves for you. It may take time and its up to them to build a relationship with you. Do Not force yourself into their lives.
