We have a well system at our house. Two days ago, suddenly there was no water. The pressure valve was just recently replaced and had pressure, the tank had pressure no circuits were tripped. 1 hour later water returned. Now, no water again any ideas?

Pressure valve? What does that mean? What does it do and why was it replaced?
When you say,
1 hour later water returned. do you mean the pump ran dry for as hour and then the pressure returned? Do you lose prime when you have no water? I need more details before I can give you a answer. Tom

I have misspoken. It was not a pressure valve it was the pressure switch that was recently replaced. Yes I mean that there was no water coming from any source in the house and 1 hour later I tried the sink again and water started coming out. Same thing happened again today 2 days later. The water "spits" in spurts ever since.

What type pump do you have? Submersible, Jrt or centrifugal ? How deep is your well? I'm no pumpguy but it sounds likethe water table's lowering below the well point when the water cuts off and comes back again as the water table replenishes.
The thing that concerns me is the pump may be running dry and that's not good
I'd have it looked at ASAP. Good luck, Tom
