I've been in my stepdaughters life since she was 6 she is now 32 she got married about 5 years ago to who at first was a great man but after I gave her away he change to a controlling nut but what hurt me I thought he and I were OK then he told me he wanted me as a clolse friend not a father in law that his dad taught him a few things I was floored I now can't stand him alog with him in the beginning wanting to control everything with her now she is due with a baby and I can't get into the whole thing because I don't feel apart of there family I've shut him off only to text here and thete don't want to see hom at one time I loved him for him but now I think I'm threw with him.:mad::mad::mad:

Whether you're a close friend or you're a father-in-law to him is irrelevant. What about your daughter? You owe it to your daughter to be in her life at this crucial time.
