Hi,

[FYI, I'm not connected to any companies, sites etc. I'm just looking for effective & decently-priced items to correct my skin probs. My issues are melasma, sun damage, and some dryness. Basically I'd like my face, neck and limbs to match my decolletage & torso again. I'd also love for this to happen without paying arms and leg$!

I've been using other products (it's going well so far however Fair and Flawless is sort of pricey, imo, but the SkinLab Glycolic 35% has been cost effective...Othine HQ 3% is cheap, sunscreens last forever) ]

I'm thinking of incorporating these Philippino ones into my regimen later. I was attracted by prices and the prospect of something new. I do realize that could be a bad thing too.:D

So, has anyone tried them? If so, I'd like to hear your experiences. TIA

recently purchased some skin products from the Philippines:

Have no experience of the products you have recently purchased but would be interested to know how you find them when you start using them, especially the skinwhite.

I know what you mean about F & F. Far too highly priced, although I still use it intermitedly.

I will definitely update. I want to finish my F & F items first... yes, the price  but it is lasting a lot longer than I expected. I started the jar of Soho Parfait in August and still have about a 1/3 of it left. It really spreads well.

I'll do the regular F & F cream (on face and neck) next.

I might start the Belo lotion (on my forearms, hands) soon.

I realized I had to do something about all of these different colors when I was in the mirror after showering one day and when I held my arms across it looked like someone else was standing behind me and reaching around! LOL! (Think of that old Janet Jackson photo.:p)

When I was trying to lighten the body with makari night crème, it lightened well and in good time but the price was ridiculous. If I could have gotten a tub of it for cheap I would have been happy, but the price led me to quit them. There has to be good body lighteners that are large enough and cost effective... and that won't thin the skin?

I'm looking for something like that too(body lightener).. decent price and effective. That's why I was looking at Philippino and Indian items.

Sometimes it seems like the US products (save the 2%ers like Porcelana from Walgreens or wherever) are so overpriced.

I lathered up with that Likas soap this evening and let it sit. It does tingle-burn a bit, wow.
