how do you solve the equation in the given interval?



sin x= 0.6, 0<or equal to x<or equal to 2pi

Grab your calculator and type sin{-1}(0.6). You should have 0.644 radians.

Now, sine is positive in the first and second quadrant. So, your solutions will be:

x = 0.644^c \,, \pi - 0.644

x = 0.644^c \,, 2.50^c
