Re John Deere LT 160 with Kohler engine. Is there an alternator ? Where is it? My lawn tractor does not charge the battery.

Hi,
You have a Kohler Command single cylinder which has an alternator under the flywheel and a rectifier attached to the blower housing. Picture attached has #9 as the stator (alternator) and #22 as the rectifier.
The white wire at the rectifier will have 24-36V AC and the center wire should have about 14V DC.
