My daughter is putting together a visitation agreement for her 4 yr old daughter. The father lives in Ohio and my daughter and grandaughter live in Louisiana. The father has felony convictions, no job and moves from house to house, and the man he calls Dad is an attorney (actually was his guardian until he turned 18).

With all this said, she is agreeing to visitation with limitations; drug test before seeing daughter, child support order, supervised visitation (meaning with her in her home). Any other suggestions or wording that could be helpful?

She needs an Attorney - this situation is full of potential problems.

This is nothing she should do herself.

She cannot afford an attorney at this time and would like to do a temporary visitation agreement for the next 6 months as she tries to save enough for an attorney.

That temporary order could very well turn into a permanent order - she is risking a lot by doing this herself.

An awful lot.

Family Court - or whichever Court handles this - is free. She should go to Court and ask for a visitation/custody agreement.

If she does a "do it yourself" agreement and the child is not returned to her she very well may not have a leg to stand on.
