OK I was working on my car it's a 89 nissan 240sx and was about to start it. So I tried starting it and nothing happened it just keep trying to turn over. I then stopped trying and was going to jump the car to see if it was the battery or something and then something popped and the car will not receive power. I have no idea what could be wrong with it I've even tried a different battery and still has the same problem. If you could help me out with this or give me some form of help I would be very grateful

. Test all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter:

Be very thorough, since it will save a lot of time and money.
. Remove and fully charge/replace the battery. Most auto parts stores will test/charge batteries for free. In the future, don't jump batteries in modern-day cars--there's too much risk of a voltage spike damaging the ECM, alternator, or sensors.
