What is the cure time for cpvc cement

Up to 24 hours for a complete cure, dependent on relative humidity. Oatey has a new one with a faster cure time but they don't tell you how fast is fast.

It should tell you on the label on the can how fast it is, some are very fast and some are very slow, so look at your can,

CPVC and PVC cement lock up pretty quickly but that is not the actual cure rate. The pipes may be sticking together tighter than you can pull apart but they can not be pressure tested until cured, about a day for most.
