Okay this may be a dumb question but I want to ask:

When I bought this laptop it obviously came with Microsoft word 2007. Now after many times of exiting when it asks me for a product key, it no longer works. I can't even type or finish my paper! Ahh!

I looked on the site and it's like $150 to buy the product-- eek I don't have that kind of money to do that.

So my question is: is there any other way to fix this?

What about installing an earlier version of Word? There are many cd's of Office '97 "floating" around. To my knowledge a lot of computer techs have them.

I use Microsoft Office '97, and it works just fine for my purposes.
