Boy oh boy did I get myself into it this time. I've never had this problem before and it doesn't even make sense to me. I met this girl a few months ago and we really really clicked, problem is, she had a boyfriend when I met her which was OK with me, I didn't mind being friends. She started to make strong hints that she liked me and even asked if I liked her. Well I was just being friendly and having fun (as a friend) and I guess she liked it too much and asked if we could fool around a bit. Well we ended up messing around which made me think that she was really into me. A couple days later, I get a message that her boyfriend broke up with her and I figured that she would lean my way. She seemed to get over him really quickly but is not talking to me much anymore. I found out from her today that she went on a date with another guy and said he was nice but nothing more. She worked her way into my head and now the roles are reversed. Im really into her and she doesn't seem to think twice about me except to keep flirting just enough to make me want her more. I guess she does it so she feels wanted. I can see that this really isn't going anywhere and Im having problems focusing on my college school work now. How do I get her out of my head or aproach her about this? Does anyone see any progression here or have any advice on what I can do?

Sounds like she's boy crazy and loves the attention. Even though she showed interest in you, she also did with her BOYFRIEND, you and this other guy. She cannot make you happy.
You already know that school is a much bigger priority than she is, try to focus on it. After school, try focusing on your hobbies and friends. She will leave your mind eventually.

I really do agree with that. I can see that she is really craving the attention. I just wish that I could focus like I used to on my studies. Its been really hard and I don't even live by her. I could completely ignore her but we are friends and I don't want to blow her off like that even though its hurting me inside not knowing if she wants more or to just be friends. I sugarcoated that question to her a few times only to have her change the subject. Why won't she just tell me?

You want her out of your head? Don't contact her.
Think about it... if she's such a good friend, why is she treating you like this?
The more you push, the more she'll pull away and tease you. You were her excuse to get out of her previous relationships and she's playing around. If you want a commitment, it won't be from her.
Leave her alone - she'll disappear from your thoughts eventually.
