My divorce is about 6-8 weeks from being final. When my attorney's office called to schedule my deposition, I called my soon-to-be ex-husband and asked if this is what he really wanted (he asked for the divorce, but I filled). A couple of days later, I received an email from his girlfriend who is also "the other woman" that he left me for. She stated, "...please do not call either home or cell phones and do not email...I will save this email as my first and only warning anything beyond this will be court documented..."
There are currently unresolved financial issues and thus, I feel I have every right to contact him. Please keep in mind that this email was from her, not him and I wasn't directing my conversation towards her. The home I called is not in her name nor does she contribute at all financially (not sure if this has any bearing).
I have since sent him an invoice for payment, but I attached a 2-3 sentence note. Could she claim that this is harassment even though I'm not contacting her?
