Movie from the mid to late 90's about a girl who's is released from prison and goes to work for a small town café run by a sour older woman. Set in Maine(I think) and the young girl is from W. Va with a strong southern acent. She wins over the people in the town who are pretty tough on her. She tells the older woman about a lottery to help her sell her café. The older woman falls and breaks her hip and the younger woman runs the café while the woman heals. There is also the oweers son who never trusts the young lady and her oldest son who supposedly never came back from Viet Nam who is actually a hermit out in the woods near the home... She is always singing a son about Johhny B... the story continues and in the end the young woman falls in the raging river and drowns... The ending will warm your heart so much...

One of the most heart wrenching movies I have ever seen... any help would be appreciated
