At four weeks she was much to young to leave her mother. I must be honest - this sounds very serious and you need to get to the vet ASAP. After only the first shot, she is not yet protected against illnesses such as Parvo. Time is of the essence, get to a vet ASAP - do not wait for an appointment.

Good grief, that puppy would have barely been eating solid foods when you took it!

It's time to get it to the vet for a FULL examination.

I think you mean Coccidia
Coccidia - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coccidia)

Again, we have to ask why/how you obtained a 4 week old puppy?

And did you report the "breeders" to the SPCA or local animal control as giving away a 4 week old puppy is illegal.

So glad to hear you were able to get her to the vet and get the meds needed to treat her. I am not sure the circumstances of you getting the pup at such a young age, but I rescued a 5 week pup from a high kill shelter and she got very sick several times over the first month. I am no expert, but I am convinced it had to do with her being separated from her mom way too early. Good luck with your new pup!
