I have a Canadian 1997 Dodge Caravan that had a csi 2400/2500 (Command Start) remote starter and keyless entry. A mechanic removed it last week because he said it was fried and causing electrical problems. BUT now my locks do not work. Could it be related? He does not know enough about the wiring to fix this--but would the power for the locks somehow have been tied to that box. I hate to have to go to a dealership to deal with this!

You said that the system also featured keyless entry... That would, in fact, tie into the power door locks.
I know nothing about your "command start" system, so you will need someone local that has electrical experience on cars and trucks, if you can't do it yourself.
Pick up your phone book. If you call a shop and explain what is going on, they may or may not be able to do the work, but, if not, they may be able to steer you to another shop that can.
Don't hesitate to ask. Otherwise, it's insert key and turn.
