Hi,
Finishing a basement wash room bath. Washer,Dryer sink and toilet, no shower.
The floor must be 2" to match up with the rest of the finished basement.
I am using vinyl for the floor. The room is approx. 7' x 10'.
Therefore, I will have a small piece of flooring left, 3' x 7' after I install the 4' x 8' sheets.
My questions are :
Is it better to use 2 thickness's of flooring plywood so that the small piece of flooring is covered by the 2nd top piece?
I would use 5/4" pressure treated decking first followed by 2 pieces of plywood, then luan plywood for the top. Then vinyl.
I plan to rent a luan stapler, should the luan also be glued or is this over kill?
Thanks:o:o
