This my third try, trying to get the answer to my question , I hope I have a better luck this time. My question is, My husband and I are both Thai married in Thailand and are legal residences, we' re separated over 30 year ago, we have no children together.I want to get a devorce in order to remarry. I don't think he will contest to a devorce, he might have a new family of his own too. Where and how I can get a devorce that easy and cost less time or money. I pretty sure wher he live, should I get in touch with him.

If uncontested, and you know where he is, the cheapest and easiest way to get divorce is you both go to Ampur in person with 2 witnesses.

If you are not in Thailand, file a divorce at family court in your area. After that have the divorce decree certified, translated into Thai language, and notarized by Thai Embassy, then have registration made at Ampur in Thailand.

DO NOT divorce at the Thai Embassy.... very important.
