Hi,
I gather you refer to the timing belt on a Freedom 42" deck. There are two versions; I will post pictures, but you will want to go to Deere to see the online manual as well at:
John Deere Ag - New Equipment: Technical Publications - Equipment Search (http://www.deere.com/en_US/ProductCatalog/HO/servlet/servlet/com.deere.u90785.cce.productcatalog.view.servlets. PublicationsSearchServlet?tM=HO)

Clarke

I found your diagram for the belts but I need to know the length of the belt in the second diagram. Got the mower with no belt on it.

Hi,
A length would not help since you need to use the Deere belt(s). The first deck uses #M127926 and the second uses#M150717. They are both timing belts that are very thin and toothed on both sides. They also do not like to strike things and survive. When installing notice that each of the toothed sheaves on the spindles have a round dot indention on them and they should point 90 degrees off. For instance one should point to the side and the other to the front or rear. This prevents the blades from contacting each other.
