I have a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab that overheated on the highway. When the light came on I got off the highway and killed the engine before it red lined. There was a crack in the radiatior hose. I let the engine cool, replaced the hose , refilled the antifreeze and the truck will not start. The heads don't appear to be cracked. Can the computer be reset to remedy the problem?

. Test all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter:

. Check for codes with a code reader. Use the code reader to reset the ECM, if necessary.
. Check each cylinder's compression. The heads may have warped and the head gaskets may be leaking--it only takes once.
