Hi,
I recently brought 500mg of glutathione from the brand Now foods and 500mg of vitamin C bottle from the brand Jamieson.
For skin whitening I was thinking of taking 1000mg of glutathione with 1000mg of vitamin c in 2 doses of 500mg.I weight about 65kg.
Do you think this is effective to achieve skin whitening effects? I am hoping it will take from 1-3 months as I have a light brown skin tone.
If I upped the dosage to 1500mg or 2000mg would the process be faster and with more time if I kept the dosage I am taking, will the effect be the same?
Any feedback is appreciated. Thank You!

Glutathione pills generally do not work. Oral ingestion doesn't affect he body properly; let alone glutathione having enough scientific evidence as to directly effect your skin's melanin concentration.

(Glutathione is considered a powerful anti-oxidant as well; whether that itself contributes to lighter skin is unknown.)

MNK did you search and read the information here on the forum about how glutathione will not lighten the body when taken orally? Even if you take very large doses of glutathione along with vitamins, the glutathione will be broken down in the GI tract and only about 10% of it is absorbed in the body. And thus will not have the side effect of lightened skin. Regardless of what skin lightening companies say, they are still wrong and do not have scientific data to back up their claims.

To save money and time try to find as much info about the ingredients and how they working the body.
