I'm going to be radical here and give you this link:
BARF Diet Specifics - Bones, Meat, Offal, Vegetables, Fruits & Other Nutrition Food Products for Pet (http://www.barfworld.com/html/barf_diet/barfdiet_specific.shtml)
I know a dog that's on this diet. The dog has raw deer, intestines from animals, whole eggs with the shell.
I think it all makes sense.

What's wrong with feeding her mince?
My dogs (until recently) were on a home made food which consisted of mince (lamb or chicken) pasta, vegetables and soaked kibble.
Some dogs just don't like eating the same old thing day in, day out...
Imagine of you had to eat dry pasta, every single meal for the rest of your life... not very appealing huh?
How about that same dry old pasta, but with a flavoured sauce on it.
Sounds a bit more interesting right?
That is the basic concept of what I do with my own dogs...
They get the same base food every day but I add a different "flavor" to their meal and change it every few days.
One week they might have a sardine mashed through their food.
The next week it might be a bit of chicken liver.
It doesn't upset their stomach because what you are changing is only a small amount, the bulk of the food remains the same.
