I was on anti-abuse tablets for two weeks to slack down on weekend drinking. I only use to drink half a tablet a morning. I have been off the tablets for 6 days now and would like to know if the anti-abuse is still in my system?:o

I don't crave a drink or anything like that. I just think I don't really need to be on the tablets since I don't drink everyday, but now I'm too scared to even have a glass of wine because I don't know how long it takes for the anti-abuse to be out your system.

Antibuse is not prescribed for social drinking, only alcoholic drinking due to its serious and nasty side effects.

What the expert, and I, think is that if you're NOT an alcoholic, you shouldn't need chemical assistance to help you to NOT drink alcohol.
