Hi everyone-

I was wondering: If you were a Bank Manager hiring for an entry level account manager position (opening accounts, doing minor investments etc.) what would you be looking for in someone? What would you want them to say? What qualities and qualifications would you be looking for? How could they convince you to hire them right then and there?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

Well, you seem more interested in what some interviewer wants to hear than whether you're actually qualified to do the job or not. If you only say what I want to hear, then might not you be lying?

I don't care what anyone says, no one can tell you what some interviewer is going to want to hear, nor what they might consider being qualified. I've had some pretty bizarre interviews that required some pretty bizarre "qualifications" that had nothing to do with anything. You're either actually qualified or you're not, and you can't change that (in the next week anyway). (And in my mind, a lot rests on what exactly "minor" investments are going to be.) But the interview itself is not something anyone can predict.

OK, we've asked how each are is and been all polite and you're now sitting...

"So, tell me about yourself."
