Ok I've been married for a little over a year, been with my husband for 4 years. We have 1 daughter and a babyboy on the way very soon! I feel like my husbands priorities are only benifiting him. His passion is coaching sports and hIS ULTIMATE GOAL IS coaching college ball. He is coaching at a private school right now for pay but onces the season is over he is left without a job so he is also the study hall teacher. He then coaches 2 other teams non profit. We have practices everyday of the week if not then it's a game. And now he brought in this radio show about sports talk that takes up his time. I'm 8 months preganant so I'm not working. I'm home with my daughter all day. He excepts me to be happy about all of this stuff he is doing go out to practices, games and listen to his show... but there hasn't been much time for our family and our relationship is lagging behind as well while I love that he's found something he loves to do I think he's spending too much time hangning out instead of with his family. He gets up at 7am to go to the gym every morning then hell come home around 9 take a shower until about 10 and sit on the couch playing video games or watching espn till about 11 1130ish. Then hell go make us breakfast (which is really the only contribution he puts in) be done by around 12 1230ish to get ready for work (study hall) and leave. Study hall is from 2 to about 6 then there's practice from 630 to 8 then hell come home, shower till about 9 930ish sit on the coach for more espn and then around 1130 12ish hell come to bed... he is not very interested in me and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong or how I can get him to interact with us more. I'm on the verge of calling it quits and living alone with my 2 kids... I've tried to tell him what I'm feeling till I'm blue in the face and he just doesn't get it he's way too busy having fun with what he does plus he's not making much money cause he only gets paid for study hall everything is his free services... I really feel like he just doesn't want to be around us... HELP!

Sounds like you need to be quite stern when telling him how you feel. He needs to know, so he can try to make some changes to keep you around.

Explain to him just how serious this problem is, and if this pattern continues, he may lose you. Try what you can to make him take you seriously.

It's not fair what you are going through. He should be there for you anyway, but especially through your pregnancy.

Also, marital counseling would probably help as well. Sometimes I think people digest things better when it comes from a third person, and not their significant other.
