I am a non- u.s. resident. I live in Nicaragua and I am in miami,fl on vacation. I am charged with a felony of possession and want to know my rights

The same rights as any citizen... fair and speedy trial, right to have legal representation etc.

If you are convicted, you will serve your sentence like a citizen and then most likely be sent back to Nicaragua.

Hello V:

I'd hire a good criminal attorney, because some of your rights might BE slipping away, and you'll never know about it. Like you had the right to NOT speak with the police, but I'll bet you didn't know that.. Stuff like that is pretty important, and you don't want to miss any more.
