Other than the Salvation Army, where can our family apply for Christmas Help. I've used the Salvation Army before and it's difficult without transportation which makes it very unorganized and time consuming. I have a 14 year old son who is doing well in school and we live in a neighborhood where our bikes have been stolen. I'm on disability and it's hard for my wife, and 2 son's on that fixed income and assistance is greatly appreciated.

Can you give us a little hint where about you live so we can assist you better with some suggestions.

Ask the school. Schools can help with many things but they don't always know who needs the help. This year my kids' school is helping us with Thanksgiving AND Christmas.

Also the religious group that you belong to,
Also the local united way, and many religious groups.

A lot of religious groups also don't require the people they help to believe in god, or at least the ones near me don't. So don't worry if you aren't religious, though if they do help you out, try to give back to the church one way or another
