I am starting my on business of reloading and selling ammo to the public. What is the law regarding the storage of the gun powder? Does it have to be stored in a perticular manner?

Absolutely. You need to check with local and state authorities regarding these laws. Would also suggest that you check with the ATF on this as well. Since 911 there have been a lot of changes in the law. Also, you must have some sort of license to reload ammo. You just can't suddenly decide to go into that business without the proper documentation.

rifleman1- I know that you need a license. I have the paper work from the F.B.I. and the A.T.F. I have passed their background check.I am just tired of waiting on the government to snail mail me the regulations. I just thought that someone might know the answers to some Q.&A 'S I have.

I found this document, but it pertains to the UK. It may help.

Explosives Act 1875 (c.17) (http://www.opsi.gov.uk/RevisedStatutes/Acts/ukpga/1875/cukpga_18750017_en_2)

I restricted my searches to the .gov domain with Google.

This should help emensely: Alliant Powder - Safety Data Sheets (http://www.alliantpowder.com/resources/msds.aspx)

It's the MSDS link to what used to be Hurcules for various forms of smokeless powder. There are references to storage regulations in the document.
