I loved a book as a child (early 80's... possibly even late 70's) about a fat cat who gets made fun of until it exercises everyday (I think jogging) through the woods with the help of a mouse (I think?) It believe it was part of a collection with other books (one of them being "Frog and Toad") Thank you very much for researching this. I hope you can find the book.

Thanks, but nope that's not it. The book was along the lines of "Frog and Toad" by Arnold Lobel with similar illustrations. Come to think of it, maybe HE was the other? I'll check it out. Thanks again.
