I have just received call in probation. My po is 2 hrs away. I got a mip and I am doing the diversion program. I am just curiouse if I will get drug tested and if I do will it be a lab test? She has over 500 people on probation and will probably have another 250 by the end of the month. Do you think she has time to test me?

She doesn't drive out and test you personally. She tells you to go to facility X at time Y. If you fail to report, you get violated. Its pretty simple.
And if you are on probation, dontcha think it might be a good idea to lay off the drugs? You are playing with fire and it rarely ends well.

I did not know the world was filled with so many errogant idiots. And not every one in the world that's on probation is using. People that are openminded and have a life can see that.

Really? You must be new to the internet.

I never said everyone on probation was using. I said anyone worried about a drug test is using. If you weren't using you wouldn't worry about taking one or not. Has nothing to do with probation.

You will probably be tested at your own expense. As far as being worried about the drug testing, many may be concerned due to the embarrassing circumstances involved with the tests. Additionally, if a person attempts to confound the test in some manner (i.e. diluting sample), a court will normally consider such a “dirty” sample.

Sure. Anyone on probation is generally drug tested at their own expense usually on a monthly basis. Better get used to showing up on the designated day and time. You are lucky not having to schlep into the PO's office once a month regardless of just how long the drive is.
And no, Stevecg had some good points to his post about why are you worred about a drug test. I quite agree with him. Most folks on probation stop using drugs but then they've wised up. It's the folks who haven't wised up and are still doing drugs that seem to come to this site wondering how they can skate around a drug test. We've seen way too many probationers on here that ask if they will fail a drug test and they have a test tomorrow type question.
