Hello, I'm new to this site and have found it to be very helpful!

I'd like to know in Federal Court if the other party is not present themselves, but their attorney is, can I motion for a "Void Judgement"? What are the chances that it would be honored?

Thank You

Basically, the attorney showing up for the person or corporation is sufficient and no, you cannot just motion for a Void Judgment as it won't be granted. The Plaintiff, if they have an attorney, is not required to show up in court unless it is for a trial or a pretrial hearing. The attorney is their legal representative and is empowered to make decisions on their behalf.
