Im 21 myself, single, and totally into the dating scene at the moment. Maybe its just me cause Im a very positive thinking person, but it seems every date I go on goes GREAT, they even call me to tell me after or I will too in some cases. One girl who I can't stop thinking about since Wednesday even invite me up to her apartment to hang out late at night after we've gone out to eat or to the movies only once. Im sure her motives weren't sex she seems really sweet...

And me being the kind of person I am. I declined just because that's still a bit much for me after a first date or outing whatever you want to call it. Is that a big red flag to a girl that Im not interested or something? It was around 10pm and I had work at 4am the next morning. So I said no sorry I have work early, and she frowned and asked for at least a hug, which I replied with Yes of course! Now she seems really short and distant... Am I maybe over thinking it all in general?

We totally clicked. Went out wed night, couldn't stop talking to each other and had each other laughing all night over dinner and some margaritas at a great place, great atmosphere, etc. I didn't text or call her the next day but I did today(friday), and she just seems really short but at least she wants to hang out again. So were going to hang out tomorrow and go to the bay on my Jet Skiis then possibly out to eat again, but she didn't act to thrilled about it... I guess I expected her to be super excited or something?? If not for Jet Skiing, then at least to see me? On the way to dropping her off after dinner she was talking about this place we HAVE to go to to eat that she loves.

So what Im really trying to get at is, when it comes to me wanting to keep pursuing a girl, about how long should I wait before I feel I can tell her I like her? It seems creepy if I were to tell her tomorrow that "hey i think we clicked hard core wed at dinner, i sorta have feelings for you". Which I do, can't deny what my heart tells me, but I am in NO RUSH what so ever to start a relationship with her. I just don't want to do the wrong things that might make her think Im not interested. Some advice on what to do in my shoes would be greatly appreciated!

As of now, my current plan of action is to go jet skiing with her tomorrow, then possibly out to dinner at the place she said we HAVE to go to. Then if that goes well Im going to tell her I really enjoy her company and we should continue to hang out regularly! Is that too soon? I have no idea... or how can I word it differently to her to let her know I'm very interested in her, without sounding like a creeper or rushing her...

I think the best thing is just keep going out and having a great time. Don't say anything more than that you have a great time and enjoy her company. Anything more and she could either be scared away or else expect for you to jump right into a really serious relationship right off the bat.

So, today went AWESOME! She loved Jet Skiing, a lot. We were totally into each other, nothing too flirty but definitely couldn't keep our eyes off each other. So now she left my place to go back to hers and clean up/take a nap. Then were going to go see Inglorious Basterds (awesome movie if you haven't see it). Dinner I don't know about but I'm sure going to offer it prior to the movie.

She's a suuuuper sweet and cute girl. Very well brought up, great manners, listening skills, relating skills, all the good stuff. We watched a movie called Taken that I love at my place and she loved it too! I had asked her if it was cool if we watched a movie and she was saying, "totally you won't get rid of me today!" then did a really sexy smile and giggle. I REALLY want to kiss her tonight after the movie! Still too soon? Let me know asap please before I leave! THANKS

I'd hold off on the kiss maybe, but that's all up to you. If she leans foreword, starts biting her lip, or looking at yours, then she might want you to kiss her. Just enjoy the evening, have a good time, and see where it takes you. :)

YEAH I'd keep her guessing for awhile. Let her get more into you first.

I'd say that when she invited you up to her place late at night, and you thought she couldn't possibly have wanted to have sex with you, she probably did.

When, after each date ends, she is short and distant with you. She may be thinking that you don't like her 'that way', or don't see her as attractive, or worth being a girlfriend in a romantic sense.

If she is shy as you say, she may be waiting for you to make a move.

There is nothing wrong with a simple kiss, so when the movie is over, and you're just sitting there talking and she gives you a 'look', then kiss her!!

Nature will take over from there.

Come to find this girls head over heels for me just really shy :). We're going to watch the Chargers kick the crap out of the Ravens today should be fun!

Yes, being in the "dating" scene for the past two years ( OK no 21 year olds) but asking you to their home after 10 or 11 is a real large sign that they want at least some level of closer affection.
