Our converted den has a plywood ceiling. We blew insulation into the house when we bought it. It is still pretty warm in this room in the summer and cold in the winter. I was wondering if the plywood is okay to have and finish or do we need to put sheet rock over this and then finish, maybe for better insulation. Thoughts??

I built a sunroom and insulated the ceiling and applied 1/4" luan plywood over it. I primed with water based kilz-it and painted with ceiling paint with added texture to it. Let it dry and go over it again in the opposite direction.
