I just ordered some 55h+ cristalline glycerin and some hot movate gel and neoprposone gel. I plan to mix all the ingredients together and use on my body 2x daily. On my face, I will use clearqucik gel mixed with the exclusive fair and white whitenizer gel crème and the serum and some black soap on my face and kojic acid soap on my body. I will keep u guys updated on my results. I am currently a shade lighter than kelly rowland I think... I lightened a lot with the hot movate gel and neoprosone gel o my body but stopped so I am back to my original skin color.

By the way who is sagluva ?
How come you arrive on board just talking about cristalline 55 and that your buying it ? How come you never been around before but one of your very first mails states your purchasing CRISTALLINE ?
Never seen you around before... plus making it sound realistic by making mention of hot movate is quite convincing/.. way to go !

Congrats So sexy that your already noticing brightening, what crème are you using after you apply the Chrystalline?
Sagluva I wish you much success, why not try the products excluding the neoproosone gel since that has steroids in it and can give you stretch marks over time. I'm not familiar with the clearqucik gel I tried searching for the ingredients, what are the active ingredients for this?

At my beauty salon, the lady said a lot of people have been buying clear quick from her and it works.. it says the ingredients are natural but I really doubt it lol.. I have been using it on my face.. it has lightenend me a bit but has done nothing for my dark spots which is what I was mainly using it for.
I am mixing the crystalline with the neorospone gel and hot movate because I used those in the past and it worked. Stopped using it.. I got a few stretch marks on my inner thighs.. I'll only use it for like a month for quick lightening then stop.. if the crystalline is strong enough, I'll only use it by itself.. I don't want to get my hopes up because I have tried many products on my body and none worked but the steroids.

I see. Well, are the ingredients listed on the tube of the Clear Quick, like the first 5?
Water(aqua), glycerin, propylene, glycol, xanathan gum, licorice extract, laurel extract, calendula, grapeseed oil, bark extract triethanolamine, DMDM hydatoin, Methylparaben, Panthenol, fragance.. disodium EDTA... MIGHT HAVE MISSED ONE OR TWO INGREDIENTS.. none of the ingredients sound dangerous but then again I have no idea... seems like everything that works has a dangerous ingredient in it... it has lightened my face.. been using it for about two weeks but seen very minimal lightening of my acne scars.. the product said complete results will happen after 2_3 months. I will mix it with the fair and white gel and serum.. I got huge pimples because I put hot movate on my face.. gave me a lot of acne scars.. had to stop bleaching for a while tilll my acne went away.. so now I'm back trying to clear my acne scars..
I've been using kojic acid soap on my face but it said that I should not use tretinoin, salycic acid or it will burn my face... does kojic acid work for acne?

Ok thank you Sagluva, from what's posted it appears fine. For me kojic acid worked great on my acne as well as my blemishes, well it also include papaya extract that is also great for this as it was a soap. But, it will sting, and then in a week or to the stinging stops as it is a good exfoliator.

No products that contain peroxide should be combined with salicylic acid or kojic acid... cozes pigmentation... keep that in mind !
If crystaline has any form of peroxide and you end up using salicylic acid then you need to watch out !

Where do you get info on this ?
imgorgeous
Sep 17, 2009, 04:18 AM
I didn't get info from anywhere...
I used to use tretinoin, and hydrogen peroxide for my acne as a teenager...
And then overambitiously went with my mum to her cosmetologist and got a salicylic acid peel done... I got pigmented marks as I waws using hydrogen peroxide on the sly... the dermat asked me what I was using and he then told me that salicylic acid and peroxide cause pigmentation as they interfere with each other..
My marks did fade away in time as I continued peroxide and discontinued the peel

No I stopped using peroxide years ago...
Its because I couldn't handle looking dull and unfresh every time I stopped using it... and had to reuse it to maintain that fresh look
I couldn't take it anymore so I just quit.. and I looked horrible for months... but then I recovered... but its true that the brightness you get while your on it... boy oh boy... its priceless... eveyrone staring at you admiring your face... I loved the feeling !
Maharani I used to take cold cold cold showers and then apply it... it used to whiten my face like crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyy... and then to take off the ghostly pale look, I used to apply lemon glycerine and rose water in about ten minutes..
My skin used to glow glow glow... Sorry I'm a guy and I'm talking like a woman.. But I am really vain I can't help myself !
See Hydrogen peroxide or benzyl peroxide have a bleaching effect, plus they burn top layers of your skin... salicylic acid peels your skin totally... so I guess it burns your skin when they interfere with each other
There is some logic I cannot explain but peroxide and salicylic acid in combo is a strict poisonous NO NO for your skin
MAHARANI
Sep 17, 2009, 10:30 AM
But then couldn' t you look at it like any kind of lightening product, where you have to keep using it to mainatin the results ?
I don't know if it was you, but I think someone mentioned that peroxide may be damaging to the skin so should be used with caution, but like you, I like using HP.

OMG thank you very much.. I have been using st ives apricot blemish and blackhead control which has salycic acid and then appplying hydrogen peroxide after as a toner.. I noticed that it helped with my acne but nmow my face is badly pigmented.. I also started using kojic acid soap and then hydrogen peroxide as a toner afterwards.. oh boy... now I'm lost on what to use on my face.. maybe I'll just stick to black soap and hydrogen peroxide.

so sexy! I'm happy to see that the christalline is working for you! And sagluva. I honestly would advise you to stay away from the hot movate. I used it a while back. And I'm glad I've stopped. It can stretch your skin (thank God it didn't to mine), but I've hear horror stories. And it has steroids in it. Trust me the christalline is strong enough. You need not use the movate.

Yesssss! Omg. I was actually about to start a new thread about how I just really took a look at myself in the mirror and I was so shocked. I'm so happy. I've never been this light before. My skin has never looked so clean. And I'm trying to decide on whether it's in my head or not. But I honestly am getting so much more attention from men (not that, that is all that matters in life.) and people keep telling me how gorgeous I am. And as of lately people keep telling me I look like Tia and Tamara Mowry. I am soooo happy. And you know. I know people say skin lightening is wrong... But I've lived life as a dark skinned girl. And now I'm living it as a light skinned woman. It's sooooooooo different. I swear to God. It's just amazing. I'm so happy. I'm like past my goal. I tried to look up a beauty store around my campus (since I'm not at home to dip into my mothers supply. Heh heh!) so I can buy more to use on my body. I have a good enough amount to last me about two months. But that's just for my face neck chest and arms. I'm going to start using the plastic wrap method around my stomach and legs if I'm able to purchase another bottle around here. I'm happy!!

Wow... sagluva.. be ware... if you continue this for a long time.. peroxide and salicylic acid mix... your marks may get permanent...
Don't risk it... lot of people say that pigmentation is because of age and hormonal imbalances...
However, I know that regardless of that it can happen when people use all sorts of MASALA (meaning spices - pun intended here ) on their faces !

Salguva. The movate is causing the acne, and if it isn't the CAUSE it's making it WORSE. I went through this as well. Stop with the movate. It will give you acne and in some cases ingrown hairs and excessive facial hair because of the steroids. Go to your local CVS or Walgreens. Pick up Omega-3 Fish Oil in 1000 mg. I know this sounds random. But just TRUST me on this one okay? It makes your skin brighter, and shinier and prevents acne DRAMATICALLY. Don't take more than 4 or 5 a day. The recommended dosage is 3 a day. If you take more than 4 or 5 a day you WILL break out. Take these pills for about two weeks. Just give it a try. And be consistent with your dosages. I promise you. You WILL see results. And make sure you double check with your doctor that it's safe to take them with your health history, whatever the case may be. I'm almost certain they'll be fine for you because it's merely an over the counter supplement. But PLEASE try this.

Is your mom's skintone originally at Beyonce's complexion or did she lighten to that complexion, if so was was her original shade? From the skin chart you had made awhile back, which level would you say that you are at now, is it at Beyonce's? I know it must be great to reach your goal just in time for school. Also, I wanted to know the consistency of the Crystalline you, Sosexy, and anyone else using this? Is it thick or more like a thin liquid?
Sagluva is the black soap you are using soft and brown? If not and it is hard and jet black then it isn't real black soap. I had a bad reaction with the fake "black" soap beacause it was too harsh, artificial, and had black dye in it. But genuine black soap from West Africa is very good with clearing acne and blemishes, I purchased some from the flea market recently. Also, You may think of trying Likas papaya soap or the Diana Stalder papaya kojic soap. The papain (the enzyme from papaya) and papaya is also rich in vitamin A and C, this had helped clear my acne before I switched to black soap, as black soap is milder.

Hey Golden Girl. Sorry it's been taking me so long to reply, I don't frequent this board as much now that I've started school. But my mom's original skin color is hard to describe. Because everyone on her side of the family has an orangish/yellowish undertone. So it's like that have the undertones of mixed people. But their skin color is a Medium-Dark 3. That's what she started at and now she's at a Light-4. But she's used soooo many different products. But now it's like she doesn't really have to do much to stay light. If she gets dark in the summer the darkest she gets is like a Light-2.
And I am between a medium light 2 and a medium light 3. I do not wish to get into the lightest range. I don't think it would look good on me. And seeing how my original goal was to get from a dark 2/3 to a medium dark-3. I'm very content and happy with my results. Maybe a shade lighter. But nothing too dramatic. I feel beautiful. :) It's a good feeling.
I surprised myself this morning. I don't know if any of you all are guilty of this... But I am. Whenever I see another woman who is my race in the bathroom or in a store. I purposely stand next to her in the mirror. And act like I'm checking out my hair. But I just want to compare skin colors. My mind is so warped that sometimes I still feel like I'm not light enough. But this morning I stood next to a girl who is a medium dark- 1 and I was soooooo surprised at how much lighter than her I was. I couldn't believe I had made THAT much progress!

That's great that you have successfully reached your goal and maintaining is like the cherry on top, cheers to you. I think it is only natural to compare shades some how when lightening because we want to see and compare our progress, whether it is with people or with makeup. When I had lightened at my lightest, I had kept my old shade of foundation although I very rarely use it. But when I had did a patch test, it was a big difference. So, earlier this year I went to Sophora to get a "makeover" and see what shade the makeup specialist would apply to my skin and he even gave me a sample to take home. I was very surprised as the shade was much lighter than my original.

Actually the make up issue can be a difficult one, when you are lightening. I find that I have lighter days and darker days and as I wear concealer for my dark circles it can take ages to get to the right tone, without it looking wrong. I have a few concealers in varying shades to help. I am just grateful I don't wear foundation as that would be a whole other issue.

Hi ladies and gents! I'm a lurker here and I've been on so many boards trying to find something successful without much success : / . I have been using surewhite for the past six months with little success. Sometimes I'm bright and sometimes I'm not. I'm definitely going to be trying this cristalline!
My only question is:have you successfully lightened your hands? This question is for Browndeceit since she has reached her goal but I would like to hear from anyone. Cause this is what terrifies me the most:light body and scary dark hands. That is a telltale sign of skin bleaching. Thank u!

Well, not to tell you not to bleach your hands, but if it makes you feel any better, my grandmother is very fair skinned and her hands are about 3 shades darker than her. No one thinks shes's bleaching because of it. (shes not) My mom is the same way.(and she's not either) Its just the part of her body that gets the most sun, therefore its darker. But I feel you though. You just want everything to be even. I too am sitting in this boat.

I think it is when your knuckles look noticeably darker that people assume you are bleaching.

Yeah
Also, the lips actually go darker (quinone buildup in the bloodstream)
And the neck looks darker than the face (naturally face would get more everyday sun, not neck).

Usually I notice a bleacher when their hands really bright. Like brighter than their body. That's how I notice when beyonce or rihanna is bleaching. And right now my hands are a shade lighter than my face. So not too noticeable. But if I put my hand up to my face you could tell. I never have a problem with my hands being too dark (thank God), if anything I have a problem with them being too light. For some reason my hands lighten faster than my arms, though I just started applying the Christaline to my arms. They're about half a shade lighter now after two applications. So hopefully I'll see progress if I keep this up! I'm optimistic! :)!

Wow, you are lucky most bleachers I know have super dark hands that how I tell. But I think genetics and lifestyle has a lot to do with it people who drive a lot have drivers shadow that why my windows are tinted, my face can easily lighten so I focus more on the darker parts first, my goal is have an even tone. Also wearing plastic foot wear and then socks has helped with my feet, winter is coming so putting the creams on then gloves helps.

I don't dark knuckles but my feet is the problem the phanlanges you know the part on your feet that kind of are the knuckles have been super dark, I have never figured out why but I read some where that heels have something to do with it, I've been wearing heels for yrs, since 17. But they look way better now, I don't use movate on my body only on my feet then the 55 plus it has helped my knees also, I fell 2 months ago and it has helped.

Oct 18, 2009, 05:55 PM
The 55H+ has also helped lighten your knees? That's great. My phanlanges on my feet aren't dark, but my knees and elbows have hyperpigmentation. My knuckles are a bit darker than the rest of my hands but aren't so noticeable. But, when I lightened my hands, the knuckles stand out a lot more as a few shades darker than the rest of my hand.

Lol @ "I wish she would just tell what she uses!" as if she's going to come out and admit to the world that she bleaches. I mean everyone already knows. Or THINKS they know. But no one can be absolutely 100% sure. But could you imagine the field day black America would have? Lmfao. The field day Tyra would have. Tyra who yells at people for bleaching, but had TWO nose surgeries to make her nose look more Caucasian. Oh please. She disgusts me.

I KNOW she's not going to come out and say what she uses but a girl can dream right? :) But Black America would have a serious field day! You right about that one. And Tyra has got to be the MOST judgemental woman on EARTH! Geez! About 90% of black hollywood has had some sort of nose augmentation... So I'm not going to judge Tyra, but on the other hand she shouldn't be judging others who bleach, or wear weaves or etc, because she falls DEEP into both categories!

Woah, I missed that too, I didn't know Paris had that although I'm not surprised.
I wish Ri woud drop a receipt too, but t's best she stay quiet about it because it would definitely tarnish her career and america would have a field day just how they did with MJ.

If we feel wierd about telling ppl even our family about bleaching im sure Rihanna won't admit this to the world BTW I'm not selecting your quote in particular except to just point out that's it's not fair people can't or are unwilling to share what they use...
I wish their weren't a stigma attached to bleaching/whitening/lightening... if you are black people assume it's self hatred... in fact anything a person who is considered black tries to do to change, enhance or accentuate is considered self hatred... if you get weaves.. you must wann be white.. or something.. if you wear contact lenses... you want to be white... it really sucks... sometimes people just want a change.. and it has nothing to do with wanting to be another race... sometimes certain features just look so exotic and beautiful on black people...
If an asian or an Indian/arab wants to bleach sometimes it's not considered as self hatred so much as class or cultural reasons... it is an unfair double standard...
Anyway.. it seems even doctors won't dish out the secret either.. I went to several cosmetic dermatologists, and basically tried to see if they had any procedures, or products and no one could come up with anything other than hydroqinone at 5%. Which for what I have seen and can tell really doesn't work all that great on dark skin... unless you use it for a long time and even then.. can be dangerous...
Seems nobody wants to come clean.. LOL... sucks... but somehow people all over hollywood magically get light...

LOL... aww thanks... well I fell off a bit... I have been using as always the DS papya soaps and the black licorice arbutin soaps but the black soaps are too harsh for the face... only the body. I use the papaya soap on my face.. and I just started again making my own arbutin cream... I had been using a 7% cream.. I made but it didn't really lighten too much... just brightened me and kept me with a glow... I guess.. now I upped the percentage to about 10 maybe 12% but I can't use that on my face cause it breaks me out like mad... but it's OK for the body... only been a couple of weeks... maybe a month of using it, and call me crazy but I feel like it fluctuates where on certain days I am lighter maybe even a little pale and I think... hey it's working.. but then other days I feel like I'm even darker than before... or maybe just dull... I don't know... I exfoliate a lot... and I know my arbutin source is legit... maybe I need something stronger to boost it... but I can' t figure out what... I'm trying to figure out a good percentage kojic lotion to make myself that will not irritate but be effective..
I'm dedeucing that if arbutin is supposed to be anything like Hydroquinone it needs a bit of a helping agent like retin a... but I think retin A actually makes arbutin ineffective not sure... so since I know kojic acid works with arbutin I'm trying to figure out how to make a good strong kojic lotion to use with the arbutin.. . Most on the market are between 2-5% but it seems things on the market are not effective really for my skin tone which is about Gabrielle Union's (which although I guess isn't dark.. it seems to be a super stable and even resistant tone... cause I don't ever really change too much... just brightening a bit... or I get a glow... but I'm trying for Beyonce... (Beyonce.. now... not when she was a bit browner.. )...
So anyway if it works well I'm going to definitely keep you all up to date... but I ordered the 55H+ cristaline and lotion too... so maybe I'm messing with my experiment results.. lol.. either way... I'll keep you all up to date..

Yeah I remember last yeah seeing maharani, and nikkicute, and you up here and I was like cool, lightening celebs... lol. Where do you get your arbutin from? And did you use the DS black soap? If so, most likely best to get the natual black soap made in west africa that looks like this... should be much more gentle without added ingredients.http://www.flutterbees.com/prodimages/africanblacksoap.jpg
But if it's this then it has black dye in it, can be harsh on some skinhttp://www.skin-whitening-product.com/images/whiteningblacksoap.jpghttp://www.skin-whitening-product.com/images/dianastalderblacksoap.jpg

Well, let me know how t works out and if it feels too strong within a week or 2. I thought of trying the 0.025%, but perfer trying the 0.05% instead since I have used milder exfoliators like the papaya kojic soap and 10% glycolic

naijachik, please be careful if you are planning to use HP as part of your lightening regime. It may give some sort of lightening but ultimately it will damage your skin and I would not recommend it. It is a pro-oxidant as opposed to an anti oxidant and is best left alone.
