Just replaced the motor in my 99 honda civic ex... ran for about a week and the just died on me... checked under the hood to see that wires were ripped out of the tps sensor and o2 sensor... wires are replaced and when starting the car, the motor turns over but does not run. It acts as if there is no fuel, but there is fuel... what could it be?? Any help would be great!! Thanks

1. Were the TP Sensor and Oxygen Sensor replaced?
2. When you turn the ignition switch to ON (Position II), does the Check Engine Light come on and then go off after two seconds?
3. During this two second interval, can you hear the fuel pump run?

No they were not replaced and the check engine light comes on, but does not go off... when I plug in the obd II reader... it reads fail!

Mostly likely, you'll need to replace those components before doing anything else. Try clearing the codes with the code reader.
