If your car is a Honda Civic or Accord, replacing the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil will likely solve the problem:

. Check for codes.

. Replace the spark plugs (ACDelco only) with the same platinum plugs that came in the car, if they have never been changed:

. Replace spark plug wires, if they are not in good shape. Apply dielectric grease.

. Replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM):

. Replace the three coil packs:

Apply dielectric grease to all coil connectors.
