Good morning. Please help. I have a Cascade Manila shower fitted two years ago, it has for some weeks ran cold after 3 minutes in the shower, but the 10seconds later it came back on. Two days ago I was and am still unable to get any hot water. When I try the condensing boiler does NOT fireup.. A new cartridge was fitted to no avail. I am at my wits end. My wife worse than. We are inj our 70s! Can you please help?cAll other outlets give me hot water

I can't draw any specs up on your valve. Can you furnish me with a cutaway view?
Back to you, Tom

T0m, thank you. Are all cartridges adjustable? I am checking the manufacturer, too early yet. It is brass about 5 inches long with a spring at one end. I did not watch it fitted. I am very grateful for your help, from so far away! Its only 5.30am here.

Cartridges are not adjustable. Distance means nothing on the internet. I repaired plumbing from all over the world. We get a lot of calls from the UK. I'll wait on the information. Regards, Tom

Thank you Tom. Ihad a combi boiler fitted just over 2 yeays ago. It is a Wocester bosch. With it came a complete shower unit supplied by Bristan in Uk, I spoke to them , and they without hesitation suggested it may be the mixer, because at the time they had abad"batch". I have purchesed a new cartridge for about £90, had it fitted, but to no avail. I have tried every thing including all the central heating, all the taps and bath, they give me hot water. A plentiful supply. The shower head will not do so.Stacks of cold water, The mixer bar about6/7 inches long remains ice cold after addressing the comi it does not fireup. I think it is conmfusing my plumber!! Any help Tom.. Terribler weather into thye bargain Brian
