Hi,

I read that the problem with my garage door not closing could be a problem with the garage door señor. If I hold down the control the door will shut but if I release it before it shuts then it will start to go up. I noticed that the light on the sending sensor is blinking.

I was spraying the tracks with a spray because the door needed lubricant and I might have gotten it on the lens.

CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT I MIGHT BE ABLE TO USE TO CLEAN THE LENS TO ENSURE THAT THIS IS NOT THE PROBLEM?

Also how can I determine if a beam is being transmitted

Hi,
Some of them blink if not aligned, and will often stop when aligned. That is how the mechanics align them.
