Hi
I'm putting a new bath in. I'm not sure of the best/proper way to vent the shower/toilet drain. Of the three drawings in the attached image, which is the correct way to drain/vent the fixtures? Thanks

Go with "drawing C" **OR** If there's a lavatory drain line near by connect to that and you won't need the extra shower vent. It will be wet vented by the lav. Check to make sure wet vents are allowed in your area . Good luck, Tom

The first thing the pro's may ask is what area/code jurisdiction you follow.

Thanks for the replies.
I'm in suburb of Chicago, Cook county.
Had a friend helping but he's out of town and I forgot how he told me to do it. No sink nearby so I'll go with "C" per Speedball's recommendation. Does this mean the other two options are improper or not as good? Just curious.

Option A & B are discharging a major fixture past a unvented minor one and that's a N0-N0 in any code.

Let's see? Shovel the drive or spend the day at the beach? ( And I don't mean Lake Michigan! ) Nah! I'm staying right here. Cheers, Tom
